Our latest ultrasound shows our little Kung Fu Princess in all her glory! This picture below is her with her dukes up.
In this office visit, the doctors checked her heart, kidneys and brain mainly. The scan showed a very healthy (and active) baby and we are totally excited that she is growing happily and healthily. She is about 10 inches long! They have officially moved me from high-risk to regular ol' pregnant. How good it feels to be normal.
Watching her on screen was amazing. She just loves to kick and punch me at all hours of the day and night and that didn't change when the cameras were on. She did however feel the need to hide her face often, either turning away or throwing her hands up, as if the paparazzi was all around. It was both very cute and slightly frustrating at the same time- we just wanted to see her adorable face! Below is her smiling as she's punching her own face. I know, our child is already totally weird- just like her parents!
Mick felt her kung fu moves for the first time last Tuesday, the 8th. With as hard as she moves, I was half expecting her to bust out of me, Total Recall style. Being this active, we are already dreaming of all the different sports she'll be playing, though kickboxing seems to be the one of choice for now.
