Well, we're getting closer to the scheduled "big day" on 20 November. Mick and I are pretty stoked about it; it's really starting to hit home that we'll have a little tiny baby to bring into our house soon and I'm not just a perpetually tired and cranky wife with a large beer belly. As I read back through the long journey, I can only shake my head at how fast time really did go by. Ahh, like a dream, it seems like just yesterday I was heaving into my trashcan at all hours of the night... THANK GOD that's over with.


Now my new complaint is the uncomfortableness of not being able to sleep well, but hey, it's just preparing me for our soon-to-be reality, right? I think even Mick is a little tired of me tossing around, as he just bought me an inflatable "pregnancy mattress", which is basically this air bed with a big hole in the middle so I can lay on my stomach. I'm completely excited and anxious to try out this crazy invention when it's delivered this week!



Also, I'll post our pregnancy pictures on here soon- they were taken by our most wonderful wedding photographer, Shelly Vinson. She is totally amazing with her camera, and we're excited to share her magic with everyone! And don't worry, the pictures will totally be G-rated. Look out for those soon!


Speaking of pictures, our 34-week appointment is tomorrow and maybe we'll have some new ultrasound shots of our little kung-fu princess to share as well. Until then, just imagine her as heavy as a bag a sugar (about 5 pounds) and covered in a sort of cream cheese like substance (vernix). Mmmmm, beautiful baby, right? YES!
