I haven't yet taken her to the Kansas Motherland (aka Super Walmart). Perhaps soon I will. Where else will she be able to go where you can buy a new set of tires, a head of lettuce, toothpaste, a yard of fabric, a toilet seat, plant soil, a new couch, get your eyes checked, your hair cut, your taxes done, your packages mailed, eat at Subway, buy a goldfish, a swimsuit, a barbie, some fresh(ish) shrimp, a hammer, and an engagement ring all under one roof? (Okay maybe Costco but that's probably if you need at least 2 toilet seats.)
Liv is a few days, perhaps a week, away from rolling completely over. She can get from being on her back to a nice little face plant but still mainly on her side. I think she's still discovering her hands as potential partners in this transition, but for now, she just tries to turn over using her nose and the occasional push-off with the tongue. You sort of feel bad for her, she puts so much energy and effort into it with only partial success, but we must admit, it's hilarious to watch. I'd put a picture of her like this, but all the ones I take just look like we dropped her like that.
She's really growing so fast, it's bittersweet.
This is her wrapped in a pillowcase. She's loving it, can't you tell? All her blankets were in the wash, and well, this actually just ended up working out so well.
I have no idea what she was making a face at, but I had to laugh out loud.
So glad we brought the travel swing with us! She gets so excited and giggly sometimes- next time, I'll put maracas in her hands.
Bed Head and Chubby Legs -- that's a great band name.
