The sun was shining, the wind was refreshing, (the water was frigid!), but the beach was still calling. Olivienne, Veronica, Ajay, Uncle Ran and I all headed to Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park in Renton, just south of where we live in Kirkland. It's a big park, with a swimming beach, complete with sand and red-shorted lifeguards, attached to a large park, with gazebos and children's playgrounds. A great spot for a great day!
BEACH DAY, HURRAY!
Veronica, drawing in the sand
Uncle Ran, Veronica, and Ajay were all up to braving the waters. At least, to their knees.
Sneaking towards the sand again...
Aha, look what I got!
Ahhhhhh, look at the yummy sand I'm eating!
I spy a speedo. That is just so wrong.
After a while catching some rays at the beach trying my best not to let Livvy squirrel by me to lap up the sand, we made our way towards the swings. Happy confinement! It was Livvy's first swing ride, and she just loved it. Now I know what to beeline for next time.
