These weeks are floatin' on by!
Week 14 brought some more good changes! Genevieve went back to work- though only part-time. The other half of her time is still spent in bed, eyeing the trashcan lovingly. She has also gained much affinity for Craisins- she's eaten her weight in them by now. God only knows if the baby will be a big Craisin eater when she's born. (Nope, still don't know the sex of the baby- that comes in 2 more weeks. This week, however, she's a girl and she's a night-owl.)
Genevieve's hawk-sense of smell has also sort-of subsided a bit. Which is a really good thing when making a trip to the grocery store. People just look at you funny if you walk around Safeway holding your nose at everything.
Mick's been busy playing House Dad- buying groceries, doing dishes, vacuuming, doing laundry, (gasp) cooking, and cleaning up the living and dining rooms. Genevieve is getting way used to this side of Mick... especially the cooking part. He's got it in him after all!! (Meanwhile, Gen's idea of cooking still involves whatever box is in the freezer and the microwave.)
And because of all the culinary masterpieces from Mick, Genevieve's GAINED TWO POUNDS! She is weirdly super excited about this, mainly because she lost about 6 pounds in the first trimester. She can even eat the occasional burger- which has been a BIG craving lately. It's nice to see her belly sticking out more and more!
