It's a constant flip back and forth between:
America's Next Top Model - I seriously can't get enough of these reruns. It's contagious, just like the bird flu. I just keep waiting to see when one of them will faint from hunger. This episode the girls are shooting a commercial in Spain. It's bad enough that they stumble in speaking in English, but it's pure genious to hear them read from cue cards in, as one girl called it, "a language I've never heard of". Okay. Congratulations chica, you're still in the running to be America's Next Top Model.
and
TLC's Pound for Pound - this episode chronicles this guy who's over 500 pounds and waiting for gastric bypass to help save his life. This guy weighs as much, or more, as all the contestants left on the other show combined. They should just blend these shows together and, presto, everyone will be instantly healthy.
Such opposite worlds. Maybe I should clean the house, this is too much contradiction, my brain hurts.
New show recommendation! The Model Life on TLC, Friday nights. It's like Top Model, but Petra is much nicer than Tyra. Last week they made the girls go to a nutrition expert, who told the girls they were too thin (One girl has a BMI of 15. She looks like a Holocaust survivor). Then the next day, the model agency told them they needed to lose weight. Classic.
